Facebook is gigantic. It's so big that it is weird when anyone under 60 doesn't have a Facebook page. It's an entire parallel universe that continues to grow and swallow our personal information whole. Something that wildly popular across all ages becomes inherently unappealing to teens, who are looking for some online personal space from their parents, and grandparents for that matter.
Enter 'the next big social network.' (Thank god it's not Vine.)
We heart it is simple enough to use and really doesn't have much functionality outside of a typical Pinterest page but its relative obscurity is capturing teenagers. If you're tired of the Facebook empire it is tempting to taste the latest flavor of the month but don't be surprised if your account goes inactive the day after you activate it.
